RAIN SPIRAL

//Industry Competition Project – Winner//
University of Dundee, 2018

The Rain Spiral as a proposed water element structure comprises of 8 different sized metal trays standing on individual supports, each caring water to another and create a waterfall inside of the building.
It establishes a space where people can stop, take a breath, listen to the calming sound of falling water and be inspired. This calming water element has also an educational context as it raises awareness of the potential use of rainwater in households and streetscapes by showing the purified rainwater that people can touch. This project won an industry competition and it is currently in a process of realisation. It should be constructed by the end of spring 2019.
